Top 5 Nature Trails in Upstate New York's Capital Region

Upstate New York is known for its gorgeous state parks, waterfalls, mountainous regions, and lakes.  If you are a nature lover, I strongly suggest you make your way to upstate New York to enjoy the Adirondacks and Hudson Valley regions. I lived in the Capital Region of upstate New York for six years and compiled a list of my top five favorite nature overlooks, walking and hiking trails.

1. Indian Ladder Trail in Thatcher State Park, NY-The Indian Ladder Trail in Thatcher State Park is a gem for it's beautiful views and it is an intense leg workout. This one is more of a moderate intensity hiking trail.
