Lunar Moon Halo and Red Moon Caught on Camera in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

I captured an image and video of a lunar halo, also known as a ring around the moon, in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania (Hershey area), in March 2023. There are many theories that exist as to why this phenomenon occurs. A lunar halo is known to be an optical illusion created by the refraction of moonlight on ice crystals, often to signify impending winter weather. 

In June 2023, I captured a video and photo of a red moon in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania that was due to the Canadian wildlife smoke (pictures below). 2023 has been a very interesting year to say the least!
